• An initial meeting will be arranged to conduct a “needs assessment.” During this assessment the home care patient and/or family can discuss what services are needed with the Cascade representative and a Plan of Care can be formulated.
• Our homecare workers are actually screened, trained, and tested prior to working for Cascade. If home care of a medical nature is being provided, these workers are re-verified on their clinical competencies at least yearly.
• Our homecare providers are insured and bonded.
• Cascade homecare managers will check periodically to make sure you are receiving the care that you deserve. We provide checklists to the providers that remind them of the tasks they need to perform and require they complete care notes for each shift and give to their manager.
• It is our practice that every effort is made to insure continuity of care. It is nearly impossible for us to guarantee that the same person (or people) will work your case every time without fail. There will be times when a different worker has to fill in due to illness, days off or even incompatibilities, but this should certainly be the exception and not the norm.
